Simply put, Katherine “Kate” Raftery enjoys helping her clients achieve their life goals and dreams. Having spent 12 years prior to her real estate career in private wealth management on Wall Street, Kate has leveraged her experience working with families and their general investments to specialize in real estate — with great results.
Her success in assisting her clients achieve their goals has been clear: in her first year as a full-time agent, Kate closed over $9.5 million dollars in sales, helping 16 families find their dream home or move on to the next chapter in their life.
“Buying a house is both a personal possession and an important investment. It is unique in that it is also a consumable good. As an agent, I can advise clients using both lenses: navigate the market, filter the noise, provide unparalleled service and — most importantly — add in a little fun. This is a big event in your life, you should enjoy the process.“
Kate began her career at Alliance Bernstein in 2007 moving on to Barclays and finally spending 7 years at First Republic Bank. At FRB, Kate was responsible for overseeing $400 Million in Assets Under Management. Most relevant to her current role, Kate worked to bring mortgage solutions to her clients and advised on real estate transactions in an advisory capacity. Kate’s background working with credit has proven invaluable to her real estate clients as they look for mortgage solutions.
“Working with clients to find their next home is my passion and working with sellers to list and successfully market their home is my pleasure. When I work with a client they become a close friend for the duration of the transaction and in most cases that friendship lasts well beyond the close. My philosophy includes an unwavering commitment to the client, their family and the outcome of their transaction. One client at a time.”
Born and raised in Monmouth County, Kate now lives in Fair Haven with her husband and three children and a spritely puppy, Fitz. Kate is an avid Providence College basketball fan and a big enthusiast of exploring the Shore. She serves on the Fair Haven Recreation Committee, founded the Fair Haven 100 Mile Club, and is a member of Promenade Beach Club.
